Learning Targets
Students will participate in an activity they can play for the rest of their lives. Slow pitch softball is a sport that one can play in leagues long into adulthood.
Students will demonstrate fundamental object control by throwing and catching the rubber softballs throughout the unit.
Students will have a cognitive test on the rules, positions, and terms of softball.
Students will be socially engaged during this activity and will demonstrate proper sportsmanlike characteristics during the unit.
